I started lifting seriously this year, and despite several injuries (ITB, MCL on both knees) & severe eczema, I’ve recently been able to achieve my short term goals of 1xBW squats & 1.5xBW deadlifts. I’m not training for aesthetics, I train to push my body further, to get stronger. I’m nowhere near my end goals, but how far I’ve come motivates me to go even further.
